Originally my Base Form Sets were called the A.I.I.™ Style Base Form Sets. A.I.I.™ stands for the American Institute of Inspectors which is a national non-profit inspector's trade association based in the Northwest portion of the USA. In 1995 A.I.I.™ inspectors were still using a pencil and clipboard to fill in a checklist style report. The reporting philosophy of A.I.I.™ was, and is extremely thorough and detailed. The thorough reporting style has always appealed to my clients and has helped to keep A.I.I.™ inspectors out of major litigation.

When I converted to the computerized 3D Inspection System in 1996, I did so with the purpose of creating form sets that were extremely thorough without using inflammatory non-professional language. If this style appeals to you, then you should consider purchasing my Base Form Sets. I created the form sets to allow the inspector the ability to report on every aspect of the property. Another great feature of the 3D system is that if you do not fill in a section it will not print out. This allows the forms designer the freedom to add comments and report subheadings for the offbeat as well as the commonplace reportable conditions.

So what if you are not a member of AII? Over the years I have studied the Standards of Practice of AII, ASHI, CREIA, NAHI, NACHI, and the state of Oregon SOP's. I have constantly strived to add the verbiage and categories that allows inspectors all over the country to be in compliance with the SOP's under which they perform their inspections. As new topics or items come up from year to year, they are easily added to the form sets. I have inspectors successfully using my form sets in all regions of the USA. Their feedback has helped in adding new verbiage and sections within the form sets.

So whether you only do single family dwellings, or if you also inspect Duplexes, 4-plexes, Apartments, Mobile Homes, or Condos, you should consider using my form sets. Investing in the Base Form Sets will allow you the freedom to create or purchase my Duplex, 4-plex, Apartments, Mobile Homes, or Condominium form sets. These extra form sets use the Base Form Set subforms. This allows you the ability to make a change to your GFCI comments, for example, and the new phrase will be added to each one of your form sets. This allows for more consistency from one form set to another and an easier way to update your form sets. I don't expect you to take my word for it. Instead, I have a FREE single family trial form set that you can download here and see if you like it.

BASE RESIDENTIAL FORM SETS - $585 - This form set package provides the foundation upon which all of my other form sets are built. It includes 10 single family dwelling form sets based on the number of bathrooms in the home. All you do is select how many bathrooms are in the home and the appropriately proportioned form set is ready to fill in. The more bathrooms, then the more interior rooms, furnaces, A/C's etc.

All of the base form sets are modifiable and will provide an excellent foundation for the creation of more specific forms for your inspection business. Because of the Form, Sub-form, Sub-subform heirarchy you can make changes to a Bathroom section, for example, and the modifications will carry throughout all of the form sets. The $585 also includes a pre-made custom header and footer template that will quickly allow you to get up and running.

I have pre-made report background header & footer templates for A.I.I., ASHI, CREIA, NACHI, and NAHI (PDF VIEWABLE DOWNLOADS)

POCKET PC: All of my form sets have been optimized for use with the 3D Pocket Report Writer.
