Deck collapse injures 7

LILBURN, GA - Seven people were injured after a deck collapsed at a holiday weekend get-together at a Lilburn home. About 30 people were at the party at 4103 Bent Willow Drive, but paramedics weren't sure how many were on the first-story deck when it collapsed at about 8 p.m. Saturday, said EMS officer Craig Stanley. It didn't seem like anything was wrong with the deck. There was possibly too much weight to hold, Stanley said. Four people were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with injuries ranging from a possible broken leg to neck and back pain.
